The key components of marine air bottles mainly include the following parts:

1、 Bottle body

Material: The body of marine air bottles is usually made of high-quality steel, such as Q245R, to ensure their strength and corrosion resistance.

Structure: The bottle body can be vertical, inclined, or horizontal to meet the needs and installation space of different ships.

Connecting components: The bottle body is equipped with hand holes or manholes for easy cleaning, inspection, and maintenance. These holes are usually equipped with sealing devices to ensure that they do not leak during normal use.

2、 Bottle head valve

Function: The bottle head valve is one of the key components of marine air bottles, used to control the entry and exit of gases.

Composition: The bottle head valve is usually equipped with an intake valve, an exhaust valve, a safety valve, a pressure gauge valve, and a relief valve. These valves work together to ensure the safe, stable, and controllable flow of gas into and out of the bottle.

3、 Safety valve

Function: The safety valve is used to prevent excessive pressure inside the bottle, thereby avoiding possible explosion or leakage accidents.

Working principle: When the pressure inside the bottle exceeds the set value, the safety valve will automatically open, releasing excess gas to reduce the pressure inside the bottle.

4、 Pressure gauge and pressure gauge valve

Function: The pressure gauge is used to display the pressure of the gas inside the bottle, so that users can always understand the status of the gas inside the bottle. The pressure gauge valve is used to control the display and closing of the pressure gauge.

Importance: By monitoring the pressure gauge, users can promptly detect pressure changes in the gas inside the bottle and take corresponding measures to ensure safety.

5、 Inlet and outlet valves

Function: The intake valve is used to fill the bottle with gas, while the exhaust valve is used to release the gas inside the bottle.

Structure: These valves are typically designed as easy to operate and maintain structures to ensure quick and accurate opening or closing when needed.

6、 Relief valve

Function: The relief valve is used to quickly release the gas inside the bottle when needed, in order to reduce the pressure inside the bottle or perform maintenance operations.

Design: Relief valves are typically designed with an easy to operate structure and equipped with appropriate sealing devices to prevent leakage.

7、 Other auxiliary components

Head (mainly for B-type marine air bottles): used to close the opening of the bottle body, ensuring the integrity and sealing of the bottle body.

Manhole device (mainly for B-type marine air bottles): provides a passage into the interior of the bottle for cleaning, inspection, and maintenance operations.

Installation base: used to fix the marine air bottle on the ship, ensuring its stability and safety.
