The working cycle of a pressure water tank is mainly based on its unique working principle:

1、 Water supply stage

Water pumping: When the water pump starts working, it will send water into the ship's pressure water tank. This process continues until the water tank is gradually filled with water.

Isolation membrane separation: In the water supply process, a key component is the isolation membrane. This isolation membrane will separate the water area from the compressed air area, ensuring that the two do not mix. This can maintain the cleanliness of water quality and the purity of compressed air.

2、 Inflation stage

Close the inlet valve: When the water level reaches a certain level and the water level can be clearly seen in the glass tube of the liquid level gauge, the inlet valve needs to be closed to stop adding water to the water tank.

Open the air valve: Next, open the air valve to prepare for inflating the cabinet.

Compressor inflation: Start the compressor to inflate the upper space of the marine pressure water tank. This process will increase the air pressure in the upper space, providing pressure support for subsequent water supply. However, it should be noted that in drinking water pressure tanks, compressed air may contain a small amount of oil, so compressed air pipes are generally not connected to avoid contaminating the water source.

3、 Pressure regulation and water supply stage

Rising water level and increasing pressure: As water enters and air is compressed, the water level in the ship's pressure water tank will gradually rise. This will further compress the air in the upper space, causing the water pressure in the entire water supply pipeline to gradually increase.

Pressure setting and automatic stop: When the pressure reaches a certain set value, this pressure will act on the pressure relay through the pressure transmission tube. At this point, the pressure relay will send a signal to cut off the power to the motor and stop the water pump from working. In this way, the ship's pressure water tank can store and stabilize the water supply pressure.

Water level drop and pressure drop: As water is consumed, the water level in the ship's pressure water tank will gradually decrease. This will cause a decrease in air pressure in the upper space, thereby reducing the water pressure in the entire water supply pipeline.

Automatic start and water supply: When the pressure drops to a certain set value, the pressure relay will send a signal again, connect the circuit, start the motor to work, and restart the water pump for water supply. This process is automated and does not require manual intervention.

4、 Cycle back and forth

The working cycle of the pressure water tank is continuous. When the water level drops and triggers the automatic start of the water supply mechanism, the water pump will send water back into the water tank and repeat the above inflation, pressure regulation, and water supply processes. In this way, the pressure water tank can continuously provide stable water pressure and volume for the ship.
